MEET THE KING
RACHARD DAHINI
In 2018, LBK set out on an exhilarating adventure into the world of cosmetic artistry. Inspired by the maestros of the USA & Istanbul, he wasn't just there to learn; he was there to innovate. With unwavering passion, he sculpted a style that wasn't just unique but also breathtakingly authentic.
Come 2020, LBK wasn't merely a name; he was the name in men's cosmetic treatments, not just in Australia but globally. His "brows for a king" technique didn't just turn heads; it stole the spotlight at the prestigious Las Vegas PMU conference. And he didn't stop there. Journeying to Dubai and Saudi Arabia, he shattered industry myths, introducing a revolutionary "neutralizing" lip tattoo service that celebrated diversity.
While accolades from top-tier magazines like Instyle and GQ are a testament to his prowess, for LBK, the real thrill lies in the radiant smiles of his clients. In the realm of beauty, LBK's mantra is clear: Everyone's already a work of art; he's just there to add a touch of magic!

HAT IS MICROBLADING ALL ABOUT?
Microblading is a semi-permanent technique where we use a unique, sterile tool to deposit pigment under the skin. This creates the appearance of natural hair strokes, giving brows a fuller and more defined look.
HOW MUCH TIME DOES THE MICROBLADING PROCESS TAKE?
The entire procedure consists of several steps: applying numbing cream, sketching out the brow shape, the actual Microblading, and then refining the final look. Typically, it's a 2-hour commitment.
WHEN SHOULD I CONSIDER A TOUCH UP?
Optimal results often come from a two-phase approach. Touch-ups let us see how the skin retains the pigment and address any areas that might not have healed as expected. Every client's healing process is distinct, but we strive for consistency. We recommend touch-ups for enhancing color, adjusting shape, or any other tweaks you might want.
HOW LONG CAN I EXPECT MICROBLADING TO LAST?
With the right aftercare and follow-up visits, expect it to last between 18 to 24 months. However, factors like skin type and lifestyle can influence its longevity. Please note that results can vary.
CAN YOU BREAK DOWN THE MICROBLADING TECHNIQUE?
Certainly! We make a series of precise, shallow cuts and fill them with pigment. This combination crafts denser and more pronounced brows.
POST-MICROBLADING: WHAT TO EXPECT?
Like all tattoos, some swelling and redness are normal. The pigment might seem unusually bright initially, giving the brows a darker appearance. But as they heal, the color mellows down, revealing a natural hue.
DOES SKIN TYPE AFFECT MICROBLADING OUTCOMES?
Absolutely. While each client's results are individual, dry skin often results in a sharper finish, whereas oily skin might produce a softer look. Various factors, including skin care and environmental factors, can influence the outcome.
IS THE MICROBLADING PROCEDURE PAINFUL?
We prioritize your comfort. A numbing cream ensures the process is as pain-free as possible.
ARE THERE ANY MICROBLADING RESTRICTIONS I SHOULD BE AWARE OF?
To get a treatment at LBK, you must be at least 18. We avoid treating pregnant or nursing individuals for safety reasons. If another artist has previously worked on your brows, we'd like to see them first – send us a photo via email. This ensures we're on the same page regarding outcomes. Diabetics should have their condition under control, as high sugar levels can affect healing. We also advise against the procedure for those undergoing chemotherapy due to increased risks.
-
LIP CONTOUR LONGEVITY: HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Your lip contour's lifespan can range from 2-5 years, influenced by factors like skin type, overall health, and regular touch-ups. Factors accelerating the fading include oily skin, sun exposure, retinol or Vitamin C usage, iron deficiency, and exposure to salt water.
IS THE PROCESS PAINFUL?
The entire procedure spans about an hour. At LBK, we prioritize comfort by using ample numbing agents and a gentle technique. If pain is a concern, consider taking 1-2 Panadol half an hour before your session. However, avoid Advil and coffee, as they can increase sensitivity and bleeding.
CAN DARK/COOL TONED LIPS UNDERGO LIP CONTOUR?
Absolutely. The first session will focus on color correction to neutralize cool tones, which means the initial tattoo color will be orange. This ensures no further darkening or ineffective results. Post-healing (around 6 weeks), most of the lip's darkness will be neutralized, revealing a balanced nude-pink tone. Achieving the desired lightness or evenness on dark lips might require multiple sessions. LBK won't use a "NUDE" shade on dark or cool-toned lips. Unsure about your lip tone? Send LBK a natural light photo for assessment. Extremely dark or thick lips might not be suitable.
IS A TOUCHUP NECESSARY?
Touch-ups are advised for everyone. They allow for shape and color modifications, intensifying the design, or addressing uneven pigment retention. They also extend your tattoo's life. Schedule touch-ups no earlier than 4 weeks post your last session. For touch-up bookings or specific queries, DM LBK on Instagram @lipbrowking. Note: touch-ups come with an additional charge, which increases over time post the initial appointment.
CAN I HAVE LIP CONTOUR POST LIP FILLER?
Certainly! Lip fillers don't interfere with lip tattooing or its results. Just ensure a minimum 4-week gap between the two procedures.
WHO CAN UNDERGO THIS TREATMENT?
The procedure isn't suitable for those under 18, pregnant or nursing women, individuals on Accutane in the past year, those with infectious diseases, undergoing chemotherapy, epileptics, or those on certain medications affecting skin healing and blood clotting.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE?
Avoid caffeine, alcohol, Advil, and other blood thinners 24-72 hours prior. Refrain from exercising on the day and from chemical peels, laser treatments, vitamin E, retinols, and fish oil 4 weeks before. Ensure lips are exfoliated and moisturized a week before your session.
LIP CONTOUR PRECAUTIONS:
If you're prone to cold sores, the procedure might trigger an outbreak. It's advised to take antiviral medications like Zivorax 5 days pre and post-procedure. Avoid lip injections 4 weeks before and after.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING THE APPOINTMENT?
We'll discuss shape and color preferences before starting. Tattooing commences only post final design approval.
CAN OLD TATTOOS BE COVERED UP?
LBK doesn't cover up old tattoos on eyebrows or lips. For confirmation on cover-ups, send LBK photos of your previous tattoo.
DOES THE PROCEDURE CAUSE COLD SORES?
For those with the herpes simplex virus, the procedure might instigate cold sores. Preventive measures include antiviral medications 5 days before and after the session. An outbreak can affect the tattoo's healed results.
FOR LIP CONTOUR, CAN WE EXTEND BEYOND THE NATURAL LIPLINE?
Yes, but only up to 2mm. Tattooing too far outside can yield unnatural results due to the distinct skin type on the lips.
-
If your lips are two-toned, cool, brown, dark looking, you will need to have a neutralization procedure.
If you are still not sure, send a photo of your lips in natural lighting via the contact methods in the contact section of my site.

Post-Procedure Care for Your Tattoo with LBK:
Immediately After:
Expect soreness, potential swelling, and a more intense appearance. Minor bruising may last 1-2 days.
The tattoo will darken as scabs form. Scabs naturally fall off within 3-10 days.
Day of Treatment:
Wipe your tattoo hourly with a wet cotton round to prevent fluid buildup and scabbing. If tender or swollen, apply ice wrapped in a napkin.
Day 2-10:
Keep hands clean and avoid touching the tattoo.
Avoid prolonged wetness. Moisturize with the recommended ointment. For eyes and brows, apply a thin layer at night. For lips, moisturize as needed.
Sleep on your back and use a clean pillowcase.
Avoid makeup and harsh products until scabs fall off.
Don't pick at scabs. Avoid UV exposure, sweating, facials, Botox, and other treatments for 4 weeks.
After Scabbing Phase:
Once scabs are gone, you can use makeup. The tattoo's true color emerges after 6 weeks. Touch-ups can be done post this period.
Tattoos will appear softer and less defined when fully healed.
Once Fully Healed:
Avoid products like Benzoyl Peroxide, Hydrogen Peroxide, and Retinol as they can fade the tattoo. Use sunscreen to protect against UV rays.
Inform technicians of your permanent makeup tattoo before any laser or facial treatments.
Tattoos fade over 1-3 years, influenced by skin type and lifestyle. Touch-ups maintain the tattoo's appearance. Oily skin or iron deficiencies might affect the tattoo's longevity and clarity.
Note: Cover-up work might need extra sessions for optimal results. LBK specializes in eyeliner cover-ups.
